• All audio playback happens locally on the device.

Parents and guardians control when audio playback begins and ends. The App may offer timed playback (for example, up to 2 hours) or continuous playback (until manually stopped).

7. Recommended Audio Use for Young Children (Ages 0–5)

To support safe listening for infants and young children, we recommend:

• Keeping the device at least 6–10 feet away from the child during sleep.
• Using low volume levels that are soft and gentle.
• Avoiding placement of the device directly in a crib or bed.
• Using white noise as calming background sound, not constant stimulation.

Parents and guardians are responsible for selecting appropriate settings based on their child’s needs.

• Playback duration and volume are controlled by the device settings and the selections made by the parent or guardian.

The creator of Pitter-Patter Raindrops is not responsible for volume levels selected by the user, extended playback duration chosen by a parent or guardian, or device placement during use.

3. Health & Safety Disclaimer (Audio Use)

White noise and audio playback are provided for comfort only and are not medical advice or a sleep treatment.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to follow pediatric sleep and hearing safety guidance, monitor volume levels and playback duration, and discontinue use if a child appears uncomfortable or distressed.
