7. Audio & White Noise Playback

Pitter-Patter Raindrops includes an optional white noise audio feature designed to support calm rest after the story ends.

• The App plays audio only and does not record, listen to, or monitor sound.
• The App does not access the device microphone.
• No audio data is collected, stored, transmitted, or shared.
• All audio playback happens locally on the device.

8. Recommended Audio Use for Young Children (Ages 0–5)

• Keep the device at least 6–10 feet away during sleep.
• Use low volume.
• Avoid placing the device directly in a crib or bed.

2. Audio Playback & White Noise Feature

• The App does not monitor, record, or respond to audio.
• Playback duration and volume are controlled by device settings and selections made by the parent/guardian.

The creator of Pitter-Patter Raindrops is not responsible for volume levels, extended playback duration, or device placement during use.

3. Health & Safety Disclaimer (Audio Use)

White noise and audio playback are provided for comfort only and are not medical advice or a sleep treatment.

4. Eligibility & Use

This App is intended for children with supervision from a parent or guardian.

5. Privacy

6. Intellectual Property

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

1. Information We Collect

We do not ask for accounts, names, email addresses, phone numbers, photos, videos, or voice recordings.

However, the Google Play version may use the following Firebase services:

• Firebase Analytics (to understand general app usage and improve performance)
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (to deliver optional app notifications, if enabled on the device)

These services may process limited information such as:

• App interactions (for example: screens viewed, taps, feature usage) in aggregated form
• Device and app information (for example: device model, OS version, app version, language, region)
• Approximate location derived from IP address (for example: country/region)
• Identifiers used for app measurement and messaging delivery (for example: an app instance identifier and/or messaging token)

We do not use this data to show ads, build advertising profiles, or sell personal information.

2. Children’s Privacy

Pitter-Patter Raindrops is designed specifically for children.

We aim to comply with children’s privacy laws, including COPPA, and Google Play Families requirements where applicable.

We do not include third-party advertising, and we do not allow user-generated content, chat, or social features.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses Google Firebase services (Analytics and Cloud Messaging). Firebase is provided by Google and may process data as described above in order to provide analytics measurement and notification delivery.

We use Firebase for:

• App improvement (understanding what features are used, improving stability and user experience)
• Optional notifications (for example: updates), only if notifications are enabled on the device

We do not use Firebase services for advertising, and we do not integrate advertising SDKs.

5. Push Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)

If notifications are enabled on your device, the App may receive a messaging token used to deliver notifications to that device.

• Notifications are optional and can be turned off in device settings at any time.
• The App does not read your messages, contacts, or other personal content.
• We do not send notifications that request personal information from children.

6. Analytics (Firebase Analytics)

Firebase Analytics helps us understand overall app usage (for example, which screens are used most) and helps us improve performance and fix bugs.

• Analytics data is used for product improvement, not for advertising.
• We do not attempt to identify a child or parent from analytics data.

7. Purchases

Pitter-Patter Raindrops is a one-time paid purchase handled by Google Play Store. The App contains no in-app purchases, and we do not receive or store payment information.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information handled through our services. Firebase data is processed on Google infrastructure with security measures designed to protect it.

9. Audio & White Noise Playback

The App includes optional white noise. The App does not access the microphone and does not record sound. Audio playback happens locally on the device.

If distributed on Google Play, it is intended to comply with the Google Play Families Policy Requirements.

Common child-safety protections (all versions)

• No advertising or ad targeting.
• No in-app purchases (one-time paid app purchase only).
• No social features, chat, or messaging inside the app.
• No user-generated content.
• No external links directed at children inside the app experience.
• Optional white noise plays audio locally and does not access the microphone.

Apple App Store version

• No analytics, tracking, or telemetry.
• No personal data collection.
• No data transmission to external servers.
• Fully self-contained experience on-device.

Google Play version

• May use Firebase Analytics to improve performance and stability (no ads, no ad profiling).
• May use Firebase Cloud Messaging for optional notifications controlled in device settings.
• No advertising SDKs or ad targeting.
• No sale of personal information.

Audio Note: The App may include optional white noise playback after the story ends. The App does not record audio, does not access the microphone, and does not collect audio recordings. Parents/guardians control volume and playback duration.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise their child’s use of the App and to reach out if they have any questions about safety or privacy.
